Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, has been diagnosed with throat cancer in the United States of America.
According to a news report, he is currently undergoing chemotherapy in a hospital in the U.S.
The singer, who recently celebrated his wife on mother’s day can be rated as one of the pioneers of hip hop in Nigeria.
His last post on Instagram prior to the news was a picture of his wife, which he captioned, “Happy mother’s day my love. I love celebrating you in anyway.”
Reactions have continued to pour in, one of which is a tweet by popular blogger and colleague, Tunde Ednut.
“Pray for Sound Sultan. He is currently battling for his life because of throat cancer,” he tweeted.
