Skit maker, Adebayo Ridwan, also known as Isbae U, has reacted to the domestic violence and extortion allegations made by his estranged girlfriend, Kemi Ikuseedun, also known as Mummy Wa.
Recall that the known couple had unfollowed themselves on social media creating rumours of a split. Confirming the split, a source claimed Isbae had always been abusing Mummy Wa and forcefully getting money from her.
The source added that Isbae U dumped Mummy Wa for his ex-girlfriend.
Reacting to this, Isbae U said the few times he got money from her was when she supported him out of love for his car and house.
The skitmaker said ‘Mummy Wa’ gave him N2 million for his car and another amount to support his house. He added that he found out later that she had wanted to surprise him with a car.
According to him, he had returned N1 million out of the money and had promised to pay her back soonest.
He said, “We were in love , I know..it looks bad now, but oh..I swear we were in love about the house, yes out of like 50million she supported me with 4m and she even said “I wish. I had more to give you and I said “oh this is important to me”.
“I didn’t beg her for the money and never forcefully collected it from her, never never it was love that made her do it and I have done so so much for her too that I don’t even need to mention.
She also wiling gave me 2m from what I used to get my car, which she was already planning to surprise me with ..and now that she said she wants the money back because she’s so sure I am with my ex.
“I sent her 1m already and I have agreed to pay the rest with no argument.”
Over the domestic violence allegations, Isbae U said he had never hit her. He said they only dragged phones and reigned curses on one another.
“Now about the domestic violence, yes yes yes we had that in our relationship. But it was only shout, insults and dragging of our phones.
“There’s nothing I have said to her that she’s not said worse… and I am not saying that makes it right but .. when we have a misunderstanding she packs her load and leave little things.
“If I tell her, babe I think you should go home for a while to check on your family, she would say I am sure someone is coming to see you that’s why you want me to leave ” and because I don’t want her to doubt me, I always apologize and let her stay. I never for once hit her.. never never did I beat her.
“All that’s making her angry is because this time I chose not to beg her to her to come back because I just wanted her to be the one to apologize for once.”
