Singer Timi Dakola has issued warnings to politicians who are fond of using his song Great Nation for their campaigns and events.

The singer who was called out for making an appearance at Atiku’s People Democratic Party (PDP) gathering weeks ago, has pointed out that there should be laws binding using one’s song at important events.

He said his permission was needed to perform his song especially at a sensitive gathering.

This is coming hours after the All Progressives Congress special convention to elect the party’s presidential flag bearer for the 2023 general elections, was held.

Timi called the convention organisers out saying, “Why Use an Artist Song without their permission in a rally or campaign.

“The things people get away with in this Country called Nigeria. Actually this is the second time.”
