The Taraba State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled David Sabo Kente, a party’s governorship aspirant in the just concluded 2023 general elections over suspected anti-party conduct.

The senator-elect for Taraba South District, David Jimkuta, has also been suspended by the party due to his anti-party behavior during the elections.

Sabo-Kente was urged to stop parading himself as a party member, at a news conference in the state capital of Jalingo.

Elsudi Ibrahim has also requested the senator-elect to the national executive committee office be expelled.

Elsudi maintains that notwithstanding the problems surrounding a vote of no confidence that some members of the state working committee had passed against him, he continues to be the party’s chairman as reinstated by the court.
