Comedian Julius Awgu has given his opinion on the longtime feud between his colleagues, AY Makun and BasketMouth.
Recall that the two had unburied a feud that’s over a decade ago in their interviews respectively.
AY stated that he stopped talking to Basketmouth because he tried to boycut his money, a sum of N30,000 which he had worked for.
He said he learnt that he had been paid and Basketmouth who was with the money had refused to pay him. He also said Basketmouth did not invite him to his wedding.
Basketmouth in his defence denied the story. He said AY is not telling the full story. According to him, he had learnt certain things from people that he didn’t want to associate with hence their feud.
He made it known that he has never been friends with AY. They were just colleagues.
A few of their colleagues have laughed it off. Bovi reacted to the picture of AY and Basketmouth which was found after the ‘Flatmates’ actor stated that he doesn’t have a picture with AY.
Bovi referred to AY as a fan who had taken a picture with Basketmouth.
In a new interview with media house, Julius said he doesn’t believe that the feud started with N30,000. He said there might be more to the story as either parties are not spilling the whole truth.
He went ahead to talk about how AY had attended to him in the past.
Julius said, “’I don’t think it’s just the N30,000. Maybe there is more. Na we dey backstage. We nor go fit know.
“Maybe there is something else that is making them angry and they have both carried in their minds that is causing them quarrel.
“Laugh For Christ’s Sake was every Easter Sunday before AY began to do promo saying he was doing one show. I called AY telling him that day is my day, he cut the call on my neck.”
