Nollywood actress, Yetunde Bakare, has warned her fans who are aspiring to be actors in the industry on what to do for them to remain relevant.
The actress on an Instagram page said people do not support your personality on social media but they are only concerned about what you display.
She said critics judge celebrities easily based on stories they hear and because of their career path. She described their actions as being unfair.
The actress warned that aspiring youths should learn how to grow a thick skin to survive in the industry.
Yetunde wrote, “I’ve been on my own lately because I’ve realized that a lot of people judge you based on social media and not your personality…like they’re not even ready to know who you are before judging you also my kind of profession Makes it more easier to doubt how disciplined you are. It is unfair but it’s all good.
“Just think twice before joining Nollywood…if your skin no thick skin no put body because they’ll mess with your mental health!”
