Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has received heavy criticism after her public support for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The actress took to her Instagram page on Friday with a video collage of herself in a colourful print outfit.
Fans noticed that she added a hashtag #asiwajubaby to her caption.
She also talked about how people need to stop bullying others over their choices.
In another post, Toyin shared a screenshot of a YouTube page who had announced a rumour that the actress died.
The disturbing picture read, “RIP Toyin Abraham”. Toyin in her caption lamented on the how people view democracy if people are not allowed to support their candidates publicly.
Her caption read, “It is no more Democracy if you don’t allow people to make their decision freely. Everyone can not see things from your own angle ONLY.
“Bullying, harassing and threatening people’s life because they disagree with you on personal choice shouldn’t be encouraged at all.
“Why would anyone put this out there? Why? Why should anyone wish others bad because they made a different choice?Why? Death is not my portion in Jesus name. #asiwajubaby #iamasiwajubaby.”

When some pitied and rebuked the curses, others chewed her up in the comment section.
A fan queried why Toyin decided to reveal her candidate after the success of her latest project, Ijakumo.
Some fans stated that they will disassociate themselves from her while many expressed their disappointment at their ‘world best’. Some angry fans went further to lay curses on her.
