Upcoming artiste, Victony, has been reported to be in a critical condition, following an auto accident.
The accident occured in the early hours of Monday, April 26, as Victony and his friends were returning from singer, Oxlade’s birthday party.
According to the manager, the accident claimed a life, leaving one in a critical condition and two others.
His manager, Dafe, took to his Twitter account on Tuesday to make the announcement, also narrating the state at which Victony is currently in.
His tweet read: “Yesterday at the early hours of the morning, @Vict0ny was involved in a fatal accident which claimed Doyin’s life and left 3 others. #prayforavictony.
“Victony was unfortunately severely injured and he’s set to undergo a surgery today. Please let’s all pray for Victony #prayforvictony.”
Artists like M.I Abaga, LadiPoe and Davido have taken turns to react to the news, send prayers, and wish the artiste a quick recovery and successful surgery.
M.I Abaga tweeted: “Saddened by the news about @vict0ny. My best wishes are with him during this time. He is a fighter and he will make it through.”
Ladipoe said, “Hearing some sad news about Victony and others with him. I pray for them all.”
Davido equally tweeted, “Prayers up for @Vict0ny.”
The artist is currently signed to MainlandBlockparty, a record label owned by Alhaji Popping.
Victony is best known for his rap EP, Saturn, released in 2020.
