Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rude Boy, has reacted over divorce rumours concerning his marriage of seven years.
Recall that a leaked petition made by the wife, Anita Okoye, surfaced the internet some days ago, causing an uproar among his colleagues and fans.
The petition cited irreconcilable differences as the basis for the marriage breakup.
Both parties have been mute about it. However, Paul, during an Instagram live with popular media personality, Do2tun, had addressed the matter.
According to Paul, it’s nobody’s business but theirs since it is a family issue.
“The public should also allow the Okoye family to enjoy the peace they’re currently witnessing.
“Let the Okoye family just have the peace that I think they are having now. I hate waking up anytime and just see people saying things,” he said.
The ‘Reason With Me’ singer, in a sleek way, confirmed the divorce rumour when he highlighted that people make different choices.
“Whatever happen is just a thing of choice and one thing you need to do is to try and respect people that wake up one day and say they don’t want to do anymore.
“Like I always tell people, it is a family problem and I think it’s nobody’s business to know.”
