The father of the late singer, Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, has disclosed why the remains of his son were swiftly buried.
Recall that the singer who died on September 12, 2023, has raised a massive uproar in the media with celebrities voicing their opinions, paying tributes, sharing their similar ordeal and the fans having peaceful protests all around the world.
His death has also been considered an investigation with a 13-men team.
Many had also raised eyebrows over how the singer was quickly buried and the state at which his remains were in the casket.
In an interview with shared by an Instagram user, Temilola Sobola (@TemilolaSobola) on Tuesday, he stated that he had buried his son because the following day because that’s how it’s been done in Yoruba culture.
He said, “In Yoruba land, his corpse is not the kind to be kept when both of his parents are still alive.
“That land where Mohbad was buried is his only land, that is the only land I know him to have owned.
“Truly he gave me the land to build my church because we had both agreed to build the church there and since that’s the only land I knew him to have.”
