Afrobeat singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, has revealed why he insisted on seeing the lady he met at Timeless concert.
Recall that a few hours after the concert, Iyanya had taken to his Instagram page to state that a certain lady was interested in him while he was performing and he would love to meet her again.
The identity of the lady surfaced swiftly however her alleged lover took to social media to lay claims on his woman.
That didn’t seem to faze Iyanya who insisted on meeting the lady who is later identified as Florence.
The singer took to his Twitter page on Tuesday to narrate what happened between the lady and himself.
He said he had insisted on their date because he noticed she was depressed and needed to destress a little. He also stated that the lady claimed that she would love to be an influencer.
According to him, nothing transpired between the lady and himself because his team had been in charge of her. He said, “any other agenda but to make sure she was happy after all she’s been through.”
He revealed that he got the lady an IPhone to start her ‘influencing’ career.
Iyanya tweeted, “When Florence arrived in Lagos on Saturday I was not in Lagos, I had events in Calabar and PH respectively.
“When I came back Monday afternoon. I headed to Sliver Jetty and spent the afternoon with Florence on a boat cruise. She’s amazing guys. She has dreams of becoming an influencer.
“To assist Florence in becoming an influencer, I got her a brand new iPhone to make this easier and create good content.
Watch out for Florence, she’s going to do great things.”
