Former Big Brother Naija’s housemate, Peace Ogor, has revealed why she decided to quit social media after the show ended.
The reality star, who hasn’t been updating her fans on social media, made a return during the reunion. She had stayed off the app for a while leaving a cryptic message.
She wrote, “I wish I never went
I wish I was at the beach, not paying rent
I wish people understand my intent
I wish I find love, I’ll be content
I got one wish, a special type of love no contest fucked it up, now I have myself to resent
Next time you wish hope it wont end in regrets.”
As always, she was attacked for such a message when she dropped it. Some said the reality TV star regrets going into the show because she can not handle fame.
In a new post, Peace has stated that she had tried to get approved by the netizens by doing what was expected of her as a star but she couldn’t.
She said she displeased herself to fit in but it didn’t work for her. So she had decided to keep her weird side to herself rather than letting out so she could be dragged by people who are supposed to love her.
She wrote, “You know for a sec I tried to fit in to get public acceptance (smh), to be loved by the masses (lol) and it was a disaster.
“I did myself a disservice to attempt altering my original weird self and to myself I want to apologise. I mean who will get the drags if we are all loved.”
