Multiple award winner, Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid, has apologised to his Ghanaian fans for not showing up to perform last Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Recall that fans had expressed their displeasure at the artiste’s absence on Twitter.
They claimed they waited for hours for the singer and he didn’t show up, alongside R2Bees and King Promise.
In a new post on Twitter, Wizkid apologised for his absence and stated his reasons.
According to him, there were issues yet to be sorted before the show and that had hindered him from going ahead with the plan to perform.
He said he has plans to compliment his fans and that details of the show will be revealed soon.
His tweets read, “Y’all know I would never do anything, without serious reasoning behind it. My brand is something I don’t joke with. I sincerely apologise, to everyone who made the profound come out tonight. I was charged up, and looking forward to doing this show.
“Unfortunately, up until the day of this show, there continued to be safety and production issues that prevented me from putting on a high-quality show that my fans deserve.
“My Team and I are working on delivering a show to my amazing fans in Ghana. It will be just the exhibit and you. Date and details soon.”
