Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, has revealed why he retraced his steps back to his wife and children.
Bolanle, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, said he lost his wife, lost his control over her as her husband and there was no communication between them.
He said he lived a reckless life and he regretted it because that took him away from his family.
Bolanle who is fond of flaunting his family especially his wife said he had to go back to the beginning to be able to rebuild his home.
According to him, his wife was taking records of everything he was doing.
Almost in tears, he said, “I needed to take time back to see what I have done to her. The years when I was feeling to young and cheating all day, making it hard. The years when I wasn’t there and pursuing my dreams.
“I forgot this was a human being that was taking records and taking experiences of how life is as well.
“So I became somebody that she didn’t recognize any more.
“At some point, I couldn’t call her to pick my call. The woman I had control over, I had no more control cause she outgrew me.
“So to get back I needed to start afresh to detoxify all that I have done. It was a process and I had to go back to the bottom.”
He went further to talk about what led to the change. He said he thought about the pain she was going through, the pain of supporting the children alone, the pain of conceiving them etc.
