Nollywood actress and media personality, Omotunde Adebolawe David also known as Lolo, has opened up about what led to the crash of her marriage.
In an interview with TVC, Lolo shared how many go into marriage with their own minds and expectations from the union and there is more to it.
She said people do not have a clear picture of what a marriage entails before they go for it.
Lolo claimed such misunderstanding and uncertainty caused her marriage to crash.
She said, “Well for me, life happened. A lot of times people go into marriage with a little bit of understanding of what they really are going into.
“And they don’t have a clear picture. Unfortunately, their lives unfold during the marriage and it is like a make-or-mar situation.
“I think that’s what happened to me.”
The news of her marriage crash leaked to the media in August 2013, however there had been denials at the beginning. Eventually, the divorce was confirmed although the OAP is yet to fully reveal the cause of their separation.
She is popular for her role in the TV series Jenifa. She played the friend and colleague of the main lead.
