Musician Eedris Abdulkareem has stated that Nigerians will not believe the arrest of Abba Kyari until he is seen in cuffs.
The former Deputy Commissioner, Abba Kyari, was arrested on an alleged drug deal with an international cartel.
He was arrested on Monday after the NDLEA declared him wanted. A video was released showing him trying to bribe an NDLEA agent.
He was arrested shortly by the Nigerian Police Force after the evidence was released, and he was handed over to the NDLEA.
Eedris on his Instagram page reacted to the news, stating that the people in power have a ‘life of layered pretense and lies’.
He also stated that his picture showing him in cuffs be released.
His caption read, “Supercop in the morning, criminal moonlighting at night. A life of layered pretense and lies.
“When will the pictures of Abba Kyari in handcuffs surface the internet. Until I see that picture I won’t believe any news of his arrest.”
