Grammy award winners, Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid and his friend and colleague, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy have been throwing subtle shades at themselves on social media.
The supposed fight had started with Wizkid praising himself on his Snapchat over his achievement so far.
He noted that he should be well respected in the game and should be referred to as sir or daddy in the music industry.
He also went further to address his colleagues as ‘Babies’.
The series of post read, “I can stop touching the mic today and y’all lil n*ggas still can’t touch the wealth! Even if you ask your dad and mom for help #moreloveLessEgo #EveryBody’sDaddy.
“Also soon. I’ll open a class for u n*ggas to come learn how to get all you deserve with less work and smart business choices.
“Moving forward! Y’all address me as Sir or daddy before you mention my name! Ok babies!.”
This of course didn’t sit well with the two time Grammy winner, Burna Boy.
He said whoever hasn’t made $100M this year should not be talking about being the leader of the clan (music industry).
“I can’t talk money with you if you haven’t made $100m this year. Just smoke brkfst and sit down.”
This had generated a heated argument on social media as fans clashed over the two artistes. Many concluded that the shade was for Wizkid.
In reaction to this, Wizkid posted, “Small Yan*h dey shake o.”
