The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the last elections, Prince Adewole Adebayo, says Nigerians removed subsidy themselves with their votes.
In an interview on Arise TV, the renowned legal practitioner said citizens had the option to vote for political parties that weren’t going to remove subsidy.
Describing the All Progressives Congress, People’s Democratic Party and Labour Party as the “Subsidy Triplets”, Adebayo said Nigerians must live with the consequences of their actions.
Elections have consequences. @officialABAT has the democratic mandate to implement the policies which @OfficialAPCNg campaigned and got elected upon, including immediate removal of petrol subsidy. 90% of votes went to the Subsidy Triplets.
