Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has responded to an old interview made by the Theatre Art Motion Picture and Practitioners, TAMPAN, Bolaji Amusan aka Mr Latin.

Yomi on his Instagram page on Thursday called the senior colleague out for always clarifying things on social media to suit the public.

He said Mr. Latin is not the president of social media. According to him, the senior colleague needs to appoint a social media adviser to help him address sensitive topics.

Yomi Fabiyi said the interview made by Mr. Latin on why the association doesn’t render medical assistance to some actors because they do not belong to the association, was a big mistake on his part.

In the video he shared, he said, “I am doing this broadcast to address the President of TAMPAN, Mr Latin i.e Bolaji Amusan.

“Mr Latin you are the president of TAMPAN, you are the president of professionals in that association. You aren’t a president of social media so whenever issues arise, I would appeal to you to take your time before you respond.

“I advised you a long time ago that you need Special Adviser on Media so that things would pass through the person and there would be serious censorship.

“You are human, if care isn’t taken you will make a mistake, like the one you just did, denying that actors seeking help aren’t members of TAMPAN. I need to be honest with you.”

In his caption, he went further to address his point. He wrote, “This broadcast is for Mr. Latin @mrlatin1510

“And I hope you stop rushing to react or respond whenever it comes to individual filmmakers. And avoid most of these bloggers. Only a few of them respect human rights and follow the ethics of journalism.

“STOP DENYING PROFESSIONAL FILMMAKERS AT THEIR LOWEST EBB. Always find a way to attend to this.

“When you are asked such questions, reply “No comment” will suffice, or the association is looking to do more in helping any ailing actor” etc. Thank you.”
