Zule Zoo member, Michael Aboh, dies

A member of the defunct music group, Zule Zoo, Michael Tertsea Aboh, has passed on suddenly.

According to reports, the ‘Kerewa’ crooner had suddenly passed on after a home accident on Saturday in Makurdi, Benue State.

A family friend,Terna Rapsody Hyacinth, had taken to his Facebook to announce the death of the singer.

He wrote, “I wish people were eager to help you survive when you were alive suffering, roaming the street of Makurdi than the way they are eager to let the world know of your demise today!! Rest on Legend”

His friend and partner, Al-Hassan Ibrahim, also took to the group’s Instagram page to make the announcement.

Ibrahim posted a picture of the deceased and himself standing side by side. He also gave details on how the singer had died. According to him, he slumped while having his bath and he died.

The caption read, “My brother collapsed while taking his bath this morning and now my Michael is no more.

“Tears have fallen from my eyes and my hands are shaking as I can’t hide the fact that you’ve passed on.

“I really cannot question God for I have lost the other part of myself— a brother and friend. Oh death, why? Rest in peace, Michael.”

Years ago, the singer was reported to have been suffering from mental impairment due to drug addiction. A rumour the artiste debunked in an interview.
