The Social Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, says he has a well-designed blueprint to create 30 million jobs for Nigerians.
Th renowned legal practitioner on Monday announced that millions of Nigerians will be gainfully employed if he becomes president in 2023.
“Can we focus on real issues please? Ask me about 30million gainful jobs and full employment. That is how to say #farewelltopovertyandinsecurity. No noise, no fables, no fiction, no tales, no trolls. Fact is where #HopeAgain2023 stands apart. No obedience on empty stomachs,” he wrote on Twitter.
Giving details of how he intends to achieve this in an interview with Arise TV, Adebayo said he has finalised plans with over 2,000 foreign companies to invest in the country.
The SDP candidate outlined agriculture, agro-allied, green energy, infrastructure and many others as key areas.
He, however, said this would have no connection with China.
“There are 2,000 companies that have signed up,” he said. “With their artilleries, you can get 60m jobs. Nigeria has the capacity to create jobs for the whole of West Africa”.
Reacting to the latest Kuje jailbreak, Adebayo said there won’t be such if he becomes president.
According to him, the nation’s intelligence network is poor while recruitment is faulty.
Adebayo described President Buhari as an absent-minded “Commander-in-Chief” who is not doing up to two per cent of his job.
On the ‘Obi-dient’ movement on social media, the SDP flagbearer said the Labour Party is an extension of the two ruling parties.
