Popular socialite, Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu popularly known as Pretty Mike of Lagos, has stated that majority of fan bases made in Nigeria are toxic and gullible.

In a long post on his Instagram page on Thursday, October 7, the controversial celebrity said fans do the most when it comes to fighting dirty for celebrities who are not aware of their existence.

He also said some celebrities deliberately start these rumours and this in turn stir their fan bases.

He said, “70% of the fanbases in Nigeria are highly toxic, very gullible and definitely malleable.

“I will never really understand how these people go to war or are instigated to fight dirty for celebrities who would never give a 2 penny worth of care for their existence except they are benefiting from it.

“Don’t even get me started on the celebrities that actually fuel these fires of tension instead of dousing it, how low can your self esteem be?

“Because if you actually enjoy, watch and encourage these scuffles with your silence or snippets of igniting information then you have a character problem that needs to be worked on.

“I believe the sky is big enough for everyone. You don’t have to bring others down, downplay their efforts or pitch your fans like pit bulls in a dog fight against each other to feel better about your self and achievements or to receive acknowledgment.

“If your work is really good, with decent PR it should speak for itself.

“No publicity is bad publicity but when it involves human beings like me and you fighting dirty over totally unnecessary issues, then I beg to differ.”
