Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, has reacted to the effort made by the EFCC to apprehend his impersonator
The suspect, Omoghan Destiny Igbinosa, was arrested, convicted and sentenced to two years in prison with an option fine of N1m by a Federal High Court in Warri.
The news of the suspect’s arrest made waves in 2021 when he was caught impersonating the actor.
The defendant was tried before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. The judge in his ruling stated that Igbinosa was found guilty of the charges laid against him.
The actor while reacting to the news gave his gratitude to the commission for their swift action. He also stated that the end has come for the impersonators.
He wrote, “End of the road for these bunch! Thanks @officialefcc.”
