Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has received heavy criticism over his new movie about Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The actor who hasn’t campaigned for the candidate suddenly took to his Instagram page hours ago to promote the new movie.
In his caption, he stated that the movie would blow the minds of Nigerians. “This movie will blow your minds,” he wrote.
In the movie, the actor who played the role of Peter Obi was constantly acting like the presidential candidate.
He also used his most frequently used phrase “Go and verify” a lot in the movie.
This doesn’t sit well with some of his fans who stated that the actor is always portraying things in a negative way.
Some criticised him for using Peter Obi for clout especially since he hasn’t publicly supported him. The fan wrote, “Nonsense the person u have never for once campaigned for on ur social media handles.”
Another person said the introduction of his second marriage was the beginning of his destruction as nothing makes sense anymore. The person wrote, “Always trending online for the negative. Judy don make Sapa and poverty reach you to the extent of being bought over by politician to castigate your own brother Peter Obi, Win or Lose, Obi is 2000 times better than you polygamist.”
Other comments read, “U don’t fit in to d character of Obi ur not even close he is a very decent man that loves and cherish his home his not a confused politician like u that turn to man of God overnight and landed with Nwaanyi MMILI a polygamous man with zero choice plz plz don’t belittle our incoming president ur not benefiting for d character they would hv looked for a well-preserved man not a wandering gbola like u to represent him is a no no for me.”
“This man keeps messing up the good name of his father. Zero talents.”
“Fear go let you do Tinubu and BUHARI’s own, bcos say na person wey no dey like talk, @peterobigregory please call for this man’s arrest immediately.”
