Afrobeat singer, Adekunle Kosoko also known as Adekunle Gold, penned a love letter to his wife, singer Simisola, popularly known as Simi, to celebrate her birthday.
Adekunle Gold posted a picture of Simi on his Instagram page with a lovely caption attached to the post.
It read: “To the best part of my life, the thought of growing old with you makes me the happiest man. My life is better because of you and I’m grateful for everyday, every milestone and moments with you.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman. I love you Magic.”
The wife, Simi, commented on the post.
She said, “Also, my 6 pack that you promised me.” and “I love you so much Champ.”
Simi, on her own Instagram, posted a video of her dancing in a living room.
The caption on her post reads: “Well, It’s my muuf**king birthday!!! giddy cos my baby bought me alcohol and Oreos.
“I’m a cry baby now..so yea that’s me watching a video some of my SimiArmy loves surprised me with.
“My man started my day great and we’re not halfway.”
Simi was born on April 19, 1988 in Ojuelegba, Lagos.
The duo got married in 2019 and was blessed with a child shortly after.
Their marriage recently suffered a cheating scandal, although it wasn’t approved by either one of them.
