Ace comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, professionally known as Alibaba Thursday celebrated 15th wedding anniversary with his wife, Mary Akpobome.
The couple who wedded in 2006 are blessed with five children; Xsara, Brenda, Valerie and twin boys, Ejiro and Tejiri.
Alibaba posted an old picture of himself and his wife on Instagram and captioned it, “15years of 25 years, that’s how @mary.akpobome reminded me of today. Happy anniversary to us. Suuumall Jollof, fried rice and swallow go dey later for my office. See you after work like from 4 pm.”
Recall that there were rumours months ago claiming that Mary threw the renowned jester out of their Victoria Island home due to infidelity.
However, Alibaba took to social media to debunk the rumours.
He said, “We have gotten calls and messages about the status of our marriage.
“We are still married and we thank everyone who sent messages and were concerned about the rumour which started because I was not home during Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“There was no need to explain to everyone that I was in isolation. And we thank God I pulled through. We appreciate your best wishes.”
