America’s Got Talent judge, Howei Mandel, who is best known as the friendly judge on the show, has been hospitalized after he slumped.
According to TMZ, he fell at a coffee shop, Starbucks in Woodland Hills, California on Wednesday.
Although he already sat up when the paramedics arrived, the onlookers claimed it was a scary one.
He was swiftly rushed to the hospital by the paramedics who attended to him.
A source, while explaining the incident to newsmen, claimed the 65-year-old passed out due to low blood sugar but the doctors are currently trying to detect what happened.
The source said, “The doctors are currently carrying out some tests on him. I believe his case isn’t so critical.
“We will know the situation of things by the time they are done.”
TMZ further reported that Howie is back home from the hospital and is doing fine.
The America’s Got Talent judge has spoken up to clear things up.
Confirming what the source said before he was rushed to the hospital, he said it was nothing serious.
Howei said, “I am home and doing better. I was dehydrated and had low blood sugar.
“I appreciate the great doctors and nurses that took such good care of me.
“Thank you to everyone who reached out.”
