Nigerian billionaire and apostle, Folorunso Alakija, has clocked 70 today, Thursday, July 15.
The businesswoman, who prefers to be referred to as Apostle Alakija, posted a picture of herself in white along with a birthday wish on her Instagram page.
Apostle Alakija stated the reason why she glows even as she’s aging to be the work of God. She extended her gratitude to God.
It reads: “If you’ve ever wondered why I’m always glowing, the reason is my God. He has always been faithful to me. His kind of love leaves me awed and humbled.
“His praise will forever be in my mouth. I just want to thank God for life that he has given me in good health and to you my family and friends.
“Thanks for your love and prayers, I am indeed humble and it feels great to be 70. God bless you all.”
The business mogul and philanthropist was the richest woman in Nigeria in 2020 and also the most powerful woman after Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in Africa, according to FORBES.
She was born in Ikorodu on July 15, 1951.
