Popular blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus and actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot, have engaged in a heated scuffle online following the actor’s win.
Desmond had taken to his Instagram page to celebrate his reelection as the house of representative, Surulere constituency and had met a displeased Stella.
The actor on his page thanked everyone who voted for him and his competitions. He also promised to make things right by representing his constituency well.
Displeased by the post, Stella stated that the actor will soon be missing when needed because he was just available for campaign and nothing more.
She said the actor will only do the same thing, which is to fill a vacant seat at the house of representatives.
In the comment section, she wrote, “Same old same old…u go enter voicemail again @desmondelliot.”
In reaction to this, Desmond took to her comment to reply to the post. He called the blogger out for not taking his side especially since she knows who he really is. He also threatened to block her from his social media pages.
He wrote, “Before I remove you from my space. You follow all people know me Wella. I’m extremely shocked at you. Stella like extremely. No be you at all. Where did we miss it. You wey suppose dey talk of the Desmond you know na you come my space dey talk this. No wahala we all go dey alright.”
Stella replied telling the politician to block her because she would honorably unfollow him before he takes the step. She said the politician is not feeding her so she has no right to keep words to herself especially since she said the truth.
She wrote, “Remove me from your space say you dey feed me? I said the truth and you know it, this has been your style for years. I am sorry if I sound negative.(according to some). I have respectfully unfollowed you sir.”
Desmond who is running for the third time won with 17, 837 votes in his constituency.
