The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has striked out the appeal of Uche Secondus seeking the suspension of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention slated for Saturday.

The court, in its judgement, therefore, gave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the go-ahead to hold its National Convention scheduled for 30 to 31 October, 2021.

Secondus, through his Counsel, Payo Oyetibo, had asked the court to suspend the October, 30th and 31st National Convention of the party and grant him the right to preside over the convention.

But in a ruling on Thursday, the court, presided over by a three-man panel, led by Justice Haruna Tsamman, refused his prayers, asking the opposition party to go on with the convention.
