The Ondo State government has announced three new cases and two fresh deaths as a result of COVID-19 infection in the state.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu made this disclosure on his official Facebook page earlier today, Monday June 1st.
According to the governor, while two of the new cases passed on at UNIMED in Ondo town this morning, the third case is currently at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Akure, undergoing treatment.
In his words, “Today, we recorded three new cases and an unprecedented number of deaths from Covid-19 in Ondo State. Two of the new cases passed on at UNIMED in Ondo town this morning. The third case is currently at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Akure, undergoing treatment.”
