Nollywood actress, Carolyna Hutchings, has been selected as the deputy candidate of Akwa Ibom State.
The controversial actress since her involvement in Showmax’s series, The Real Housemates of Lagos, seem to have delved into politics.
She took to her Instagram page in the late hours of Monday to share the news.
The actress with the name H.E Uduak Caroline Danjuma will be contesting as the deputy governor of Akwa Ibom under the umbrella of Sowore’s party, African Action Congress (AAC).
She vowed to serve and honor in loyalty and truth to the people of Akwa Ibom.
She wrote, “To serve and to honor in loyalty and in truth to Akwa Ibom and Nigeria. So help me God… ”
Other actresses like Tonto Dikeh, Funke Akindele, have also delved into politics to represent their states as the deputy governor candidate.
