The Johnson cast mourn Ada Ameh’s passing

The Johnson TV series cast have reacted to the death of their loved and cherished colleague, Ada Ameh, who passed suddenly after a mental health issue.

Ada Ameh passed on after she slumped in Delta. She was reported to have died before she was taken to the hospital.

Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki in the Aki and Pawpaw comedy dramas, also known for his role as Efe in the Johnson and the onscreen son of Ada Ameh, has unanimously reacted with the crew of the drama series.

A statement dropped under Chinedu’s Instagram noted how shocking Ada’s death hit them and how they are all trying to accept it.

The statement went further to say they had waited to confirm the news before reacting to it because it was hard to believe.

It read, “It was really hard to post this as we, the cast & crew of @OfficialTheJohnsonsfamily and Native Media tv had waited under advisement from Ada’s manager to secure a physical confirmation from warri. Sadly ?, he did comfirm our fears

“We are broken-hearted ?? as we painfully affirm the passing of our dear sister, friend, colleague, screen mum and Matriarch of The Johnsons clan, Ada Obande Ameh (aka Emuakpor Johnson).

“To all our teeming fans around the world, we have truly lost a rare and vibrant gem, but celebrate the life of an icon who daily put smiles on every face and spread love in every home.

“Together, we join our voices with yours to offer prayers on behalf of the family. May God grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

“ADA, You will be missed but your memory will live on in our hearts forever.”

Another actor, Samuel Ajibola, popularly known as Spiff, a former actor in the drama series, has also expressed his sadness and disbelief over the death of Ada Ameh.

Samuel took to his Instagram with heartbreaking emojis.

He wrote, “Devastated! I’m really struggling to believe what I’ve been hearing of Aunty Ada Ameh’s demise.

“Someone should please tell me its not true!!!”
