Darey Art Alade, others react to OAP Bigtyme’s death

Celebrities have paid their respect to popular On Air Personality, Onome Oyaide, known as Bigtyme, who recently passed away.

The deceased, who until his death worked at RHYTHM FM has been confirmed dead.
His colleague Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi of Beat FM, made the announcement.

She took to Twitter on Sunday to pay her tribute. Her tweet read, “Rest in Peace, Big Tyme. Sigh. Just a pleasant, happy guy.”

Sensational singer, Darey Art Alade, tweeted, “An absolute influence on what we now have as today’s Nigerian Hip Hop and Pop culture.

“A true gooner, music head, professional broadcaster with a solid voice and an all round good guy. Happy ascension brother Onome Oyaide aka Big Tyme. This hurts. Love and light.””

Another colleague of his at RHYTHM FM, OAP Osi Suave, promised not to forget the deceased. He wrote, “Rest well big tyme. I’m glad you lived life and you touched so many while doing it.

“I’d never forget you my big bro It hurts I won’t lie, it f***ing hurts. Sleep with the angels.”

Another OAP from Wazobia FM, Tracy Chapele-Ugo, also known as Suo, said the OAP recently tweeted on his page and his death was announced the next minute.

She wrote, “One minute he was tweeting just fine, larger than life and next he’s gone. RIP @937RhythmFm’s Big Tyme @OnomeOyaide

“Cool cat, shayo man with a big heart. Modern Entertainment Radio in Nigeria can’t easily forget the joy you bring, man….This is just crazy, rest well Onome.”

Media personality, Osagie Alonge wrote, “Rest in Peace Onome ‘BigTyme’ Oyaide. Big brother, good friend, always looking out for others.”

The media house is yet to react to the news.
