Don Jazzy praises Wizkid as ‘Overdose’ hits no.1 on Apple Music

Music producer and founder of Mavin records, Don Jazzy, has praised Wizkid for his support as his signee’s song, ‘Overdose’ became number one on Apple Music.

The song, ‘Overdose’ by Crayon featuring other artistes like Arya Starr, Ladipoe, Magixx and Boy Spyce, has been making waves since its release on May 13, 2022.

Overdose hit number one just hours after Wizkid’s comment and declaration of love for the song.

Crayon, on Tuesday, had played the song on his page and Wizkid had taken to the comment section to praise the song, stating that if he decides to get married, the song should be played.

He wrote, “If I marry, play this song.” He had also commented on Don Jazzy’s page when the song was played. He referred to the song as his Jam.

Without putting an end to it, he also posted a video on his story and he was listening to the song and hours later, the song becomes number one on the Apple Music Nigeria chart.

Don Jazzy took to his Twitter to share a screenshot of the chart. He thanked his team, fans and Wizkid for the support.

His tweet read, “Na Baba God dey run am. This No 1 was not easy at all. Shout out to the Mavin team. Shout out to the Mavin fans. Shout out to Big Wiz for the timely co-sign. We appreciate you all. Thanks #Mavins.”
