Afrobeat singer, Chukwuka Ekweani, also known as Ckay, has bragged about his forthcoming album making history.
This is coming just hours after the 2022 Headies Award nomination list was released and he wasn’t on the list.
The ‘Love Nwantiti’ crooner took to his Twitter page to share a single line talking about the history his new album is going to cause.
He tweeted, “My album will make history.”
His song, ‘Love Nwantiti’ had made waves on Tiktok for a while and his fans had expressed their disappointment on why the artiste’s work wasn’t recognised.
The nominalist list was released on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, with names like Arya Starr, Portable, and other fast rising singers.
Reacting to this, comedian Seyi Law stated why his song wasn’t included. According to the father of two, ‘Love Nwantiti’ was released in 2019.
