THE presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has urged Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to accept defeat and reach out to Bola Tinubu.

Adebayo, who made this known in a tweet today, said the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party and Labour Party should emulate former President Goodluck Jonathan who called President Buhari to congratulate him in 2015.

While admitting that he is more aggrieved than all candidates combined and least satisfied with the result, the renowned legal practitioner said the choice of the people is clear although unwise.

“Chinua Achebe was right that leadership is the problem of Nigeria. Where are the true leaders? Same drama every election year is not progress.  @GEJonathan saved us in 2015. It is now time for  @atiku and  @PeterObi to show that they love Nigeria. Time to call
@officialABAT is now.

“I have more grievances than all the presidential candidates combined. I’m least satisfied with the results. I am dissatisfied with the choice of the electorate. It is the prerogatives of the people to make unwise choices but the choice is clear. We can be more honest all around.”

The PDP, LP and Action Democratic Congress had called for the cancellation of the polls with Tinubu leading.

However, the Independent National Electoral Commission urged all aggrieved parties to seek redress in court.
