Hollywood star, Tom Owen, has passed away. He was 73.
The Last of the Summer Wine actor died peacefully according to reports.
His family had released a statement to make the announcement.
The statement read, “He passed away peacefully and is survived by his two children, James and William, and ex-wife, Mary.”
Tom is best known for his role as Tom Simmonite in the long-running BBC sitcom for 10 years from 2000. His father, Bill Owen, had been on the show as Compo Simmonite.
