The wife of singer Made Kuti, Inedoye, has revealed how their relationship had started and had resulted in a marriage between them.
The duo had melted the hearts of Nigerians a few hours ago when they had tied the knot in the presence of their family and loved ones.
Inedoye in an interview with Bella Naija said she had met Made Kuti in high school and he had been her school father at the time.
She said they had rekindled their friendship when she was in the university when they reunited.
Inedoye said they had become friends again on Facebook and Made had returned to Nigeria and their relationship blossomed.
She said, “We met in high school. Funny story. He was my schoolfather. He was a very good schoolfather.
“We didn’t talk until much later, while I was in university.
“After he graduated, we became Facebook friends first. Then, from Facebook friends, he came back to Nigeria in 2018. That’s when we began dating and here we are.”
Made said he is captivated by her smile. The couple tied the knot in a civil and traditional style. They also had their exhilarating wedding reception with many celebrities on the dance floor dancing to their fill.
