Afrobeat singer Daniel Benson, also known as BNXN, has expressed how shocked he was when he won the 2022 Headies award and car gift.
The singer had won the award for the Best Rated Artiste in 2022 and along with the plaque, he also received a car gift of Bentley BENTAYGA SUV.
BNXN in an interview with HIP TV said he hadn’t expected to win and the car gift had shocked him the most.
According to him, he couldn’t believe he won till the car was shipped to him.
He said, “I was really stunned [winning a Bentley], mainly because I wasn’t expecting it. I thought it would take me a longer time to get a Bentley.
“I just got a car before that award show because I didn’t want to be pressured by losing the car [Bentley] or not. So, I had to buy another car separately to compensate myself.
“But when I won I was really stunned. Even when they shipped it and brought it to Lagos, it was another, ‘Wow! It’s right here.’ I was really excited.”
