Relationship blogger, Blessing Okoro, has narrated her own battle with marriage and divorce, supporting Daddy Freeze’s idea of divorce.

Recall that Daddy Freeze in a recent post has advised his fans to “respect anyone who can go through with a divorce” because it’s expensive and takes guts.

Blessing Okoro reshared Freeze’s post and claimed that she spent almost N7m to get a divorce and almost N3m to get custody of her son who she had to live without for several years until she was granted custody.

Okoro told people not to blame divorcees for their actions, telling them they can’t walk in their shoes because it’s hard.

Okoro said, “You need guts, balls, extra strength and money. I spent almost 7million getting a divorce that took me 5 years spent, almost 3milliom on custody of my own child.

“Why should I be ashamed of a war I won that many of you can’t even dare to fight. You know wetin divorce be?? Small rats on Instagram wey still dey piss, dey talk rubbish with cheap data.”

Okoro also narrated what she went through during her divorce hearing and the final judgment.

“Divorce, look person wey you sleep with, love, born in the face. Them go come lie for your head join, you go see accusations, you go run. Na that time you go know say everybody dey blow lie just for freedom.

“Abi na the years I go spend, person go dey ask you to bring evidence on your emotions wey you no plan. Hmmmm. Na money wey go spend? Time, drama, pain, torture?

“Thunder fire that person wey say make I dey ashamed of my freedom. Ogun scatter your head. Come walk in my shoes, you won’t even take one step. Talk is too cheap.”

She also mocked those praying for a better marriage, adding that she prayed for that too.

“My marriage will work in Jesus name, we all prayed that prayer but madam pray it silently and don’t disturb us. Marriage is heaven, marrying wrong na hell fire.”
