Celebrity doctor, Chinonso Egbema also known as Aproko Doctor, has opened up about a brain tumour he had last year and his healing process.
The doctor who is known for his healthy tips on Instagram and his Twitter account has revealed that he went blind in one eye over a brain tumour called CranioPharyngioma.
CranioPharyngioma is a non cancerous brain tumour according to Wikipedia.
Aproko doctor said he was fighting for his life all through December last year.
In the video he shared on his Instagram page, he said how he was diagnosed while trying to edit the last edition for the year. He said he was unable to read out of his phone and he was scheduled for an immediate surgery.
According to him, he had recollected when they had a class about the same tumour he has in school.
Aproko doctor shared the video clips taken after the surgery. He also revealed a new project ‘Unclog with Aproko Doctor’ where he would be sharing an in-depth story and challenges.
His caption read, “Throughout December of 2022, I was fighting for my life. I went blind in one eye on the 3rd of Dec. 2022 & on the 5th, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
“Today I stand here before you to share my story. It has been a long road to recovery but each day is better than the last.”
