Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has been well celebrated as she clocked 45 today, August 24, 2022.
Her colleagues, family and friends have all turned up for her.
The Lagos State Gubernatorial candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Olajide Adediran aka Jandor, has celebrated his deputy.
He wrote, “I celebrate a phenomenal and an accomplished woman at 45, not because she has chosen to be my partner on this quest to birth a breath of fresh air in Lagos, or because she is my kin and a true daughter of Lagos state.
“I celebrate you because you are a shining example of what it means to be a woman with purpose.
“You have approached every challenge with integrity, every opportunity with grace, every lesson with humility. You are supple but firm, and warm to all who have the fortune of meeting you.”
The Artistic Director for Maybelline New York Nigeria, Bimpe Onakoya, also celebrated Funke. She narrate how she became friends with the actress.
She wrote, “Happy 45th Birthday to an amazing person!! I have known Funke since our Unilag days, I was an aspiring Makeup Artist while Funke was also an aspiring Actor with big dreams although she already did ‘I Need to Know Drama series, we became close for the oddest reason.
“I had sweet tooth and she was selling cakes, you see this woman called Funke, she was studying Law, at the same time acting and enterprising, fast forward to present.
“She’s not just a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry, she’s also vying for the position of Deputy Governor of Lagos State, I know Funke, this woman is hard working, Focused, and the nicest soul who has the fear of God!!! she’s is going to deliver!!
