Popular rapper, Jude Lemfani Abaga, also known as Mr Incredible Abaga/ M.I Abaga, has announced that he will be changing his name in preparation for his new album.
He made this announcement on his Instagram page on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
The anticipated album will be released two years after his last album ‘Judas the EP’.
M.I on his post stated that he would be retiring the name with a last performance on July 10, 2022 as he celebrates his legacy as the greatest rapper in Africa.
According to him, his next album will be coming ‘hard’ hence the need for the change of stage name.
In one of the posts, he said, “After over 15yrs as minister incredible, I will be retiring the name “MI Abaga” and taking on a new name for my new project bcuz, my new album hard af and it deserves a new name.”
He released the lead single of his seventh studio album ‘Daddy’ in March.
