The adopted daughter of veteran actor, John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu, Jasmine, has been released and cleared of all allegations concerning the donation made to the actor.
Recall that following the wife, Stella’s cry for help, the adopted daughter and son of the actor were arrested and interrogated for over two weeks.
Stella claimed that the daughter and son had diverted the funds made for the actor’s illness to their own account.
An arrest was made by the police who confirmed in a statement after the rumours circulated.
However, in a viral video shared by actress Doris Ogala, Jasmine has been released and cleared of all charges laid on her. A man in the video stated that the actor’s adopted daughter had no hand in the transfer of money.
The man said, “Finally the case about Jasmine and Ibu’s family has been resolved.
“After our findings, we discovered that Jasmine didn’t have anything to do with the money that had been transferred.”
