Singer Chike Agada has survived a shootout from unknown gunmen in Abuja.
The singer on his X page on Tuesday shared the terrible experience. He revealed how he was on his way from a friend’s restaurant opening and was heading home when he became suspicious of a car following them.
He said he had instructed his driver to increase the speed and shortly after that, the people in the car had shot sporadically at their car.
Chike expressed his gratitude to the DSS for their swift attention to the case.
He wrote, “The last 24hrs have been a true testimony. I had just left the opening of my friend’s restaurant and lounge in Abuja, only to discover I was being followed.
“I instructed the driver to step on the pedal along Guzape Expressway, and as soon as he did, they started firing sporadically at my vehicle.
“I thank the Almighty because I left there unharmed.
“And I want to express my gratitude for the way in which the @OfficialDSSNG came to my aid in making sure of my safety.”
