The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 386 new cases, bringing the nation’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection to 43,537.
The NCDC made this known via its verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
The new figure is the lowest number of confirmed coronavirus infections in one month.

NCDC said 130 of the new infections were found in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, which has the second largest burden of the disease with 3, 933.
The records show that for third consecutive days, Abuja has topped the list of states with new cases in the country.
Lagos still retained its position as the epicentre of the disease with 15,186 even though it recorded only 65 cases in Saturday’s tally.
The remaining cases were recorded in Ondo (37), Osun (29), Plateau (23), Rivers (15), Enugu (14), Nasarawa (12), Bayelsa (11), Ebonyi (11), Ekiti (9), Oyo (8), Edo (8), Abia (6), Ogun (3), Katsina (3), Imo (1), and Adamawa (1).
