A spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode says Nigeria will be flushed down the toilet if the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) returns to power in 2023.

This is as he claimed that the PDP got it right with the postponement of its presidential campaign pending when the rift between its standard bearer, Atiku Abubakar, and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike is resolved.

He said he also feared for the party going into the electoral battle against the ruling APC, liking it to “a featherweight going into the ring with a super heavyweight.”

The former PDP chieftain said fighting PDP without the Wike and his allies Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo State), Samuel Ortom (Benue State), Ikpeazu Okezie (Abia State), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu State) “will be like fighting a one armed man and there is no honor or glory in that.”

Fani-Kayode who stated this via his Facebook page on Wednesday said: “to make it a clean and hard fight let them come together and join ranks so that when we defeat them before the world and remove their soiled pants they will have no excuses.”

He declared that the “OBJ, UMYA and GEJ PDP died long ago”. He maintained that those that control the party today killed it.

The former Aviation minister said what is not left of the PDP is “a haunting ghost and mere shadow of its former self, led and driven by a vicious, capricious, greedy and dangerous bunch of thuggish, brash and loud-mouthed thugs, court jesters and gangsters and a rappacious conglomeration of self-serving, malevolent and deluded men who are not fit for public office.”

He warned that if the PDP should return to power again “Nigeria will not only be finished but will also be finally flushed down the toilet, never to return.”
