Nollywood actor, Davidson Johnson, dies

Nollywood actor and voice-over artist, Davidson Johnson, has died after a long battle with kidney disease.

According to sources, the actor had died on Thursday morning, June 2, after battling other diseases alongside kidney disease.

His death was announced by a friend, Zubby Enebeli, who was the one who helped to raise funds for Davidson’s health when he was alive.

Zubby on Facebook wrote, “Rest in Peace, Heavy Metal, Rest in Peace, Good Man, Rest in Peace, Johnson Davidson, it is well.”

Another colleague and singer, Paul Dairo, also paid his respect to his friend. He stated that the deceased had been on dialysis for eight months before his death.

Davidson was the brain behind Heavy Metal Studios, an indigenous and globally focused audio visuals company, established in February 2004. He is also known for his works such as Domitilla (Ashewo no be work), Global Excellence (Oga for magazine) and others.

He is survived by his wife and children.
