Comrade Adams Oshiomhole may be suspended as All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, however, it isn’t all doom and gloom for the ex-Edo State governor.
National Executive Committee of the party, Thursday, approved the governorship primary in Edo in which Osagie Ize-Iyamu emerged governorship candidate.
The NEC gave its ratification during a virtual meeting.
President Muhammadu Buhari also directed all party members to discontinue all ongoing litigations as they affect the party.
Mr Ize-Iyamu won the party’s governorship primary on Monday.
However, former factional acting National Chairman, Victor Giadom, had declared the process null and void.
Ize-Iyamu’s confirmation is seen by analysts as a bright spot in an otherwise grim period for Oshiomhole.
